The Applied Science Technologists & Technicians of BC (ASTTBC) regulates 5,295 applied science and engineering technology professionals in British Columbia under the Professional Governance Act (PGA).

ASTTBC registrants practise across a broad range of technical areas within their registered discipline. The Areas of Practice document provides an overview of recognized areas of practice and helps registrants, employers, regulators and the public understand the scope and nature of technology professional practice.
