Four Associations step with $6k for ASTTBC Foundation!

A big shout out to the BC Road Builders and the technology professional associations from Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario who chimed in at the ASTTBC Technology Awards and Recognition Celebration (TARC) and contributed $1500 each to the ASTTBC Foundation. Ontario President Greg Miller delivered a cheque to ASTTBC President Trent Reid. The kind gesture was acknowledged at the podium. The Alberta President Sandra Pippus jumped to her feet and declared she would not be outdone by Ontario and agreed to match the $1500. In rapid fire, the Manitoba President Kellie Orr declared that the middle of the country would not be left out and offered their $1500. Not to be upstaged by these generous offerings, ASTTBC’s good friend at the BC Road Builders, President and CEO Kelly Scott joined the fray and tossed in $1500. The $6k was added to the funds raised through the silent auction and wine cellar raffle, resulting in a grand total of over $18k being added to the ASTTBC Foundation to support technology and careers!
