Tetra Society & ASTTBC Link for People with Disabilities
ASTTBC and Tetra have been collaborating for more than a decade in support of people with disabilities. A key service provided by Tetra is the development of devices that help people with disabilities manage usual activities in their daily lives. Sometimes a simple mechanical device will help open a drawer or position a device for more effective use.
The newly appointed Tetra Executive Director Ruby Ng visited ASTTBC CEO John Leech to talk connections and consider future points of contact with ASTTBC and its members in service to Tetra’s services.
Tetra, formed by BC MLA and ASTTBC Honourary Member Sam Sullivan, has branches throughout North America and is based out of Vancouver. The Sam Sullivan Foundation supports Tetra and various programs to support persons with disabilities.
