ASTTBC CEO John Leech connected with Minister Todd Stone at Deputy Minister’s Awards Dinner. During his presentation at dinner, the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure congratulated engineers and the engineering community for their contribution to building BC’s infrastructure. ASTTBC CEO was seated at the Minister’s table along with the ACEC-BC Chair, Tim Stanley, PEng and President and CEO Keith Sashaw, other senior staff from the Ministry, the President & CEO of Partnerships BC and Sr VP of Hatch, a Platinum sponsor along with ASTTBC.
“ASTTBC was ‘in the house’ as a way to support our relationship with ACEC-BC and their employer members,” said Leech. “Keith Sashaw is a great staff lead for ACEC-BC who, along with the volunteer leadership at ACEC-BC, have actively engaged with ASTTBC over the past decade.” In May 2015 ASTTBC signed a MoA with ACEC-BC that acknowledged areas of common interest, spelled out the respective roles of the organizations and identified areas where we would work together.
